the victoria secret fashion show was out of control this year. i pulled together a few of my favorite pieces from the show and even though most of the pieces are impractical you can take away some of the trends and tie it into your everyday style. the studding, leopard, capes, and the lace are all trends to incorporate in your wardrobe this winter.

fearless

these are fab and a must have for work and play this winter. throw them on with black tights and a pencil skirt or wear them with some skinnys, either way you will add a twist to a simple outfit. i love the traditional style black pump with an edge. i'm thinking i'm gonna need a pair myself.

winter whites

i have a confession, i am tanorexic. i love being tan all year round however this is my first year I am taking a stand and not hitting up the tanning beds. i am trying to keep my skin looking as young as possible for as long as possible. in order to still have that summer glow i have found that nars laguna bronzer with bobbi browns soft pink you can still look like you've got that sun kissed look without the killer UV rays.

all black

it's snowing here today in kansas. i can't tell you how much i love when the seasons change the increase in all black ensembles puts a smile on my face. black is so easy to wear and you can wear the same black top over and over again with different bottoms...talk about an easy way to survive through out this recession.

celeb style

sienna miller is a style icon. she has the body, the look, and the hair to pull off just about anything. her daytime style should inspire you to lose the leggings, hoodie, and uggs and throw together something a bit more fun and en vogue. try a pair of light jeans, your dad or boy friends button up, a gray tank, a blazer or substitute that for a cardigan and you will look fresh and stylin.

a couple of years ago the short little bobs were all the rage. these days the longer the better.

faux furs

i bought a faux fur bomber jacket from h&m last winter and wore it the other day. i got so many compliments and questions as to where to purchase one like it. if you are on a hunt check out forever21, urbanoutfitters, and topshop they all have fabulous furs and for less.

i'm sure most of you if not all would kill for a stella mccartney piece. well get your credit cards ready and go to gap.com because the philanthropist has designed a t-shirt for world aids day and half the profits go directly to the global fund to fight aids. the best part is it's only $28 wow.

leopard leopard leopard!! wear it in the form of shoes, sweaters, jackets...whatever just wear it!! it's sexy and cool and definitely adds something to a plain black outfit. if your feeling daring rock it with floral's, stripes, or anything with a bold color and you will look fab trust me!

bondage

bondage has been all over the runways and a style used only by the top designers. leave it to forever 21 to copy christian louboutins bondage ankle bootie perfectly. i don't agree with knock off hand bags but knock off shoes that are going to eventually be covered in mud and snow are ok with me! all that is missing is the red sole :-(

i'm so sorry i've been mia for so long. i promise never to do it again! i figured why not come back on the biggest online shopping day of the year-cyber monday. cyber monday provides shoppers with deals deals deals! here is my favorite. free shipping until midnight at forever 21. i just ordered these double finger rings which i have been looking every where for. if you are shopping for gifts on a budget these rings are perfect for sisters, bffs, cousins, and for a gift exchange!

cocktail hour

as the holidays slowly arrive every girl is in need of at least one party dress.  whether you are heading to a christmas party, new years party, cocktail party, or dinner party all three of these dresses should top your list of go to's.  throw on one of these dresses with a pair of opaque black tights, a leather or wool jacket (depends on how dressy you want to be), and finally your favorite black pump or ankle bootie and you will have everyone staring.  the best part is they are all from forever 21 and under $25 dollars OMG!

get ready to buy buy buy!  november 6th mary-kate and ashley olsen are debuting their clothing line for jcpenny!  if your at all like me you would die for a piece from their elizabeth and james collection well now you can get you're hands on a piece of their designs for under $50!!!  there is only a video now but check it out and the amazing shoes i know that's what i'll be picking up!

i have discovered that the two it boots this fall have twins and i'm going crazy for them.  acne's wedges and burberry's biker boot's that were seen multiple times during fashion week are now available because of jeffrey campbells genius ways.  pick them up exclusively at LF stores trust me they are great find.

ponchos ponchos ponchos

as the cold whether gets more extreme the question as to how to bundle up is on every ones mind.  i look to find new ways to layer every winter because i never seem to be warm enough.  finally this year i came across these ponchos for forever21.  they are amazing it feels like you are wearing a blanket however you just look extremely cozy and cute.  pair it with a long sleeve white tee, leggings, and any winter boot!  i will be living in mine this winter.

divided

one of my favorite spots to find staple black pieces is h&m.  every time i walk in there they have all of the hottest trends and in black so you can wear them with anything and everything.  here are a few pieces that i found that are so adorable.  go to the nearest h&m to check out even more fun fall fashions.

chanel

never did i imagine in a million years that a hay-stack and a chanel collection would be in the same room.  this year's chanel presentation was set on a farm, yeah i said it, a farm.  karl largerfeld took his classic blazers and turned them into peasent-y poppy prints, turned his traditional materail; leather on his double chain bags into basket weave, and threw his double c's on amazingly fabulous wooden clogs.  largerfelds traditional pieces still resided in the show but with an amazing western twist and i'm loving it.
