ponchos ponchos ponchos

as the cold whether gets more extreme the question as to how to bundle up is on every ones mind.  i look to find new ways to layer every winter because i never seem to be warm enough.  finally this year i came across these ponchos for forever21.  they are amazing it feels like you are wearing a blanket however you just look extremely cozy and cute.  pair it with a long sleeve white tee, leggings, and any winter boot!  i will be living in mine this winter.

divided

one of my favorite spots to find staple black pieces is h&m.  every time i walk in there they have all of the hottest trends and in black so you can wear them with anything and everything.  here are a few pieces that i found that are so adorable.  go to the nearest h&m to check out even more fun fall fashions.

chanel

never did i imagine in a million years that a hay-stack and a chanel collection would be in the same room.  this year's chanel presentation was set on a farm, yeah i said it, a farm.  karl largerfeld took his classic blazers and turned them into peasent-y poppy prints, turned his traditional materail; leather on his double chain bags into basket weave, and threw his double c's on amazingly fabulous wooden clogs.  largerfelds traditional pieces still resided in the show but with an amazing western twist and i'm loving it.

the sartorialist

my favorite blogger/photographer is the sartorialist.  he captures the most beautiful pictures and the most amazing street chic out there.  here are a few of his pictures from paris fashion week.  if you like what you see here is his website check it out!

a futuristic mcqueen

alexander mcqueen's spring 2010 presentation in paris today proved that he is the edgiest designer in the fashion industry.  his unique designs hung beautifully on the models while his amazingly mutant looking shoes made the models look as if they were sea-reptiles in the coolest way possible.  his crazy designs inspires one to step outside of their comfort zone and put something on that completely goes against what is mainstream.  this collection is especially inspirational.

love

i love this spread and wanted to share it with you.  she is so chic and hip, follow her lead for this fall.

my version of the fall jacket

wherever you are i am sure the fall weather is affecting you or will begin to soon.  it is getting freezing here in kansas and i have discovered that i am struggling finding a fall appropriate jacket in my closet.  i went on a hunt and decided knit is the way to go!   here are a few cute styles i stumbled upon they are adorable and very affordable!

stella

as i told you in an earlier post, i spent a summer working in stella mccartney's press office.  it was an amazing learning experience.  i dealt with sending samples to editors of magazines and celebrities while assisting on photo shoots and presentations.  everyday all day was spent dealing with stella mccartney's clothing line, leaving me with quite the attachment to the designer.  when she debuts a new collection i always get very excited.  she never ceases to amaze me and her spring 2010 collection is fabulous, here are a few of my favorites!
