the victoria secret fashion show was out of control this year. i pulled together a few of my favorite pieces from the show and even though most of the pieces are impractical you can take away some of the trends and tie it into your everyday style. the studding, leopard, capes, and the lace are all trends to incorporate in your wardrobe this winter.

fearless

these are fab and a must have for work and play this winter. throw them on with black tights and a pencil skirt or wear them with some skinnys, either way you will add a twist to a simple outfit. i love the traditional style black pump with an edge. i'm thinking i'm gonna need a pair myself.

winter whites

i have a confession, i am tanorexic. i love being tan all year round however this is my first year I am taking a stand and not hitting up the tanning beds. i am trying to keep my skin looking as young as possible for as long as possible. in order to still have that summer glow i have found that nars laguna bronzer with bobbi browns soft pink you can still look like you've got that sun kissed look without the killer UV rays.

all black

it's snowing here today in kansas. i can't tell you how much i love when the seasons change the increase in all black ensembles puts a smile on my face. black is so easy to wear and you can wear the same black top over and over again with different bottoms...talk about an easy way to survive through out this recession.

celeb style

sienna miller is a style icon. she has the body, the look, and the hair to pull off just about anything. her daytime style should inspire you to lose the leggings, hoodie, and uggs and throw together something a bit more fun and en vogue. try a pair of light jeans, your dad or boy friends button up, a gray tank, a blazer or substitute that for a cardigan and you will look fresh and stylin.

goldie locks

a couple of years ago the short little bobs were all the rage. these days the longer the better.

faux furs

i bought a faux fur bomber jacket from h&m last winter and wore it the other day. i got so many compliments and questions as to where to purchase one like it. if you are on a hunt check out forever21, urbanoutfitters, and topshop they all have fabulous furs and for less.

i'm sure most of you if not all would kill for a stella mccartney piece. well get your credit cards ready and go to gap.com because the philanthropist has designed a t-shirt for world aids day and half the profits go directly to the global fund to fight aids. the best part is it's only $28 wow.

leopard leopard leopard!! wear it in the form of shoes, sweaters, jackets...whatever just wear it!! it's sexy and cool and definitely adds something to a plain black outfit. if your feeling daring rock it with floral's, stripes, or anything with a bold color and you will look fab trust me!
